GTPR Placed Under CNR Management

The Grand Trunk Pacific Railway was placed under the management of Canadian National Railways (CNR), a Crown corporation.

This website chronicles the history of Riverdale Municipality (formerly the Rural Municipality of Daly) in southwestern Manitoba; the communities of Rivers, Bradwardine, Wheatland, Carnegie, and Pendennis and surrounding districts; and RCAF Station Rivers / CFB Rivers.

This project was completed with financial assistance from the Government of Manitoba. Additional funding was received from the Rivers and Area Community Foundation and the Rivers Train Station Restoration Committee.
