Employment on Winnipeg-Melville Rail Line

28 crews consisting of 140 men were employed on the railway line between Winnipeg, Manitoba and Melville, Saskatchewan.

This website chronicles the history of Riverdale Municipality (formerly the Rural Municipality of Daly) in southwestern Manitoba; the communities of Rivers, Bradwardine, Wheatland, Carnegie, and Pendennis and surrounding districts; and RCAF Station Rivers / CFB Rivers.

This project was completed with financial assistance from the Government of Manitoba. Additional funding was received from the Rivers and Area Community Foundation and the Rivers Train Station Restoration Committee.
