Continental Passengers Stop in Rivers for Lunch

For the first time in 40 years, “Continental” passengers were afforded a quarter-hour stop at Rivers for lunch.

This website chronicles the history of Riverdale Municipality (formerly the Rural Municipality of Daly) in southwestern Manitoba; the communities of Rivers, Bradwardine, Wheatland, Carnegie, and Pendennis and surrounding districts; and RCAF Station Rivers / CFB Rivers.

This project was completed with financial assistance from the Government of Manitoba. Additional funding was received from the Rivers and Area Community Foundation and the Rivers Train Station Restoration Committee.
